Wild Prospects

Deal Ends: Tue 20th October

Not a typical Monday at the office. I'm stranded in jungle with my office crush, following a monkey we hope is leading us to safety.Santi Reyes is quiet in the dangerous way, the kind of man who notices everything I try to hide. I have spent eighteen months being professional around him, which is hilarious, because apparently the Venezuelan jungle has other plans. One minute, our guide vanishes on a corporate retreat. The next, a storm splits the trail and I am alone with Santi, no signal, no path, and one opinionated howler monkey leading us deeper into the canopy. He catches me when I slip on the wet rocks. He builds shelter in the rain like he was made for crisis, then asks the questions I have been avoiding for years.By the lagoon, I start to believe that he has feelings for me too. Then the truth hits hard.Santi’s old risk report may be tied to the people who took our guide. And continuing to follow him might lead us straight to them.Tropes: Forced proximity, survival romance, corporate retreat gone feral, getting lost together, quiet competence heroine, man who watches before he moves, slow burn ignited by crisis.Spice level: 5/5, explicit.HEA: Yes.
