According to Grant Holiday, there are two kinds of people in the world: those who follow the rules and those who should stay the heck out of his forest. He’s decided I’m the rule-breaking enemy, and that’s just fine with me. No matter how pretty his green eyes are, how handsome he is, or how often he finds me when I’m lost, he is definitely not my type. A smart woman would lie low, try to follow the rules, and avoid Grant Holiday, but he just keeps showing up and pointing out every rule I’m breaking whether I’m rescuing an injured skunk or accepting a job at his brother’s bookstore. He’s the last person I want to see every day, until… he isn’t. Which is awkward, because I’ve got trust issues and he’s hung up on his ex. We’ll never work as a couple, so I should ignore my irrational attraction to the infuriating man. Should be easy, right? Except he’s just made it clear the attraction goes both ways.
