LUCYWhen I accepted the temporary PR job with my brother’s NHL team across the country, my goal was to escape my cheating ex-fiancé and overbearing father. Now I want to get my dream job in England. Without their help. What I didn’t predict is meeting my brother’s best friend, team captain and gorgeous single dad Kellen Bassey. He seems to find me amusing, but maybe he’s laughing at me, not with me.And after the unfortunate locker room incident, I can’t believe what he suggests.KELLENI need to convince the team owner that I’m not interested in his wife so I can stay in Colorado, close to my daughter’s doctors. But if he continues to think I’m a threat? My spot on the team is gone. And my family will be torn apart. When my teammates suggest I get a girlfriend to prove I’m not interested, I blow off the idea. But then my best friend’s older sister arrives in town. Lucy Knox is pretty and funny and has a reason to want a boyfriend, so in a moment of insanity, I propose we fake date. Now our friends have formed a fake dating committee and named us “Kellcy”. And when we need to put on a performance in a hot springs pool at the team retreat, things spiral out of control…Tropes:Single dadFake dating by committeeWholesome hockey team found familyBrother's best friendHockey player MMCMCs in their 30sCute dog named WafflesMedium sp1c3Microtropes: that’s MY girlfriend
