She started work life as an artist in oil painting, but soon discovered that lead to a starving artist lifestyle.To earn a living, she became a certified public accountant and enjoyed a two-decade career in international finance with Johnson & Johnson. She started as an auditor, ferreting out fraud at affiliates around the world. Later she became CFO of Johnson & Johnson Mexico for five years, moved to Argentina, where she served as CFO of the local affiliate and was also given subregional responsibilities. After five years in the Southern Cone, she was named to head the Latin America and Caribbean finance function.Kathryn took an early retirement from corporate life to live out her dream of writing fiction. As an author of mystery and suspense novels, she draws deeply from her experiences growing up in a small town in Mexico as well as her work and travel in over ninety countries around the globe.
